The evening at the Bold Campus in Königstein im Taunus—a venue that in itself stands for courage and greatness—was defined by the vision and strength of Motsi Mabuse: inviting women to take space for themselves, to reflect, to move, and to invest in their mental and physical well-being.
This is the promise behind every event cateringorder that my team and I take on: full presence, craftsmanship, and sweets that mean something.
Each of these creations was handmade for this evening, these women, this moment. Raspberry Vanilla cupcakes, chocolate mocha cupcakes, and carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese buttercream, pistachio-chocolate pralines, delicate macarons, panna cotta with strawberries, chocolate cake pops, the best brownies, fruit tartlets, and a chocolate cake with strawberry cream—the crowning glory of the evening!
When I founded Das Cupcake in 2012—as a Canadian-trained pastry chef in Germany—one thing was clear to me from the start: the final product is not the goal, it is the tool, because the real value lies in what a carefully crafted dessert triggers at the right moment. At a retreat that invites women to celebrate themselves. At a company event that turns an obligation into a real experience. At an anniversary celebration where every bite says: You are worth the time someone invested in this.
