Baking has been a matter close to Ewa Feix’s heart from the very beginning.
Inspired by her Canadian roots and her love for fluffy American-style cupcakes, she brought her sweet creations to Frankfurt in 2012 .
Step by step, she learned the pastry craft—through trial and error, passion, and perseverance. At the same time, she built her network, presented her ideas, and slowly turned her vision into reality. She eventually passed the German pastry chef's exam.
Since then, the cupcake has grown organically: from the initial idea to an established brand. The world of baking has shaped Ewa and transformed her into an entrepreneur, pastry chef, businesswoman, and teacher .
Today she works with international companies , develops individual cupcake designs for marketing campaigns and advises bridal couples to create beautiful and tastefully perfect cupcakes that are just right for their special day.

In 2013, she founded the Ewa Feix Academy in Frankfurt, where she has since passionately inspired her students. With expertise, charm, and creativity, she introduces students to the world of tools, techniques, and fondant work, demonstrating how edible works of art are created.
In 2015, another dream came true: Ewa published her first book, “Zuckersüß” – an inspiring collection of recipes with ideas for cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, holiday cakes and macarons .
As the founder of Das Cupcake (2012) and the Ewa Feix Academy (2013), she opened her own baking studio in 2018 in the idyllic Waldems in the Taunus region, just a short drive from Frankfurt and easily accessible by car and public transport from the entire Rhine-Main area.
In 2021, Ewa Feix launched her popular online baking courses . Participants from all over Germany can join live via Zoom , from the comfort of their own homes.
All participants will receive a lovingly packed box with weighed ingredients and professional tools directly to their home.
In this course, Ewa guides you step-by-step through the preparation and piping process, offering plenty of tips, tricks, and plenty of motivation. Whether you're making macarons or cake pops, her instructions are guaranteed to make it a success.
